Von Essen has announced the appointment of Andrew Thomason as the general manger of the soon-to-be-launched Hotel Verta. Due to open at The London Heliport in Battersea in July 2010, the 70-bedroom Hotel Verta is Von Essen’s first hotel in the capital and the second hotel in its Metropolitan set.
